Contributing to community is paramount for Paul. From 3+ years of experience as the Events and Marketing Manager of the nonprofit Markham Arts Council to community work as the Vice President of Finance for the Society of the Creative School, social service is a necessary part of his career. Consequently, Paul has worked on numerous public events, social programs and local creative endeavors that engage the public. The focus of the work is always that creatives, young people as well as marginalized individuals are paid fairly and that everyone, regardless of their background, identity or ability are treated with dignity.
Society of the Creative School 25-26
Role: Vice President Finance.
Representing 10 schools, 15 programs, and over 5,500 students, the SCS is a student-led society that represents all full-time undergraduate students within The Creative School at TMU. Managed the accounts of 100+ student projects, 35+ student groups, course unions and year end shows as VP Finance. SCS provides project funding, collaborative programming and networking opportunities for students to develop real creative industry experience.
Have Some Sense! Game Show
Role: Business Manager, Floor Director.
Have Some Sense! is a comedic feature length game show where contestants tackle challenges relating to human senses. Oversaw the finances, sponsorships and fundraising of the project. Supervised cast, crew and show details during production on set. Produced in 2025 in an immersive green screen studio. Have Some Sense is a TARA Award winning live production for Best Live Factual, Entertainment Or Lifestyle Show.
Sid’s Room
Role: Business Manager.
From a basement somewhere in Cabbagetown, Toronto, it’s Sid’s Room, a web series featuring up and coming Canadian musicians. In each episode of this documentary program, hosts Jaiden and Sid invite you to witness an intimate musical performance and stories with local talent. Manage a complex budget, monitor income, ensure timely payments and complete cheque requisitions since 2025.
Markham Arts Council Art Exhibit Fall 2023
Role: Marketing Manager, Event & Sponsorship Coordinator, Curator, Onsite Technician.
The Markham Arts Council enriches the lives of Markham residents through arts and cultural programming and activities. Leverage arts and culture to enhance the community’s wellbeing and economic development. This local exhibit featured eight local artists from York Region at the historical McKay Art Centre along Mainstreet Unionville, attracting thousands of visitors in just a week.
City of Vaughan Special Needs Integration and Recreational Services 2019-2022
Role: Integration Counselor Special Needs Program Specialist.
The Vaughan Enriched Day Program and Summer Camp Program has been servicing the community for several years. Helps individuals with various disabilities lead inclusive, quality lives. Created accommodations to public programming to maintain community engagement. Carefully oversaw youth and adults with special needs, engaged program participants in interactive programs that promote community building.
